A Few Notes for Your Stay
Dunwyck Hall has welcomed guests since 1926, and we ask that you help us carry that tradition forward with the same care the house has always been given.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Your door code arrives shortly before your stay begins, and we're always reachable if your plans shift.
The House Itself
Dunwyck Hall is furnished with pieces original to its history — please treat the rooms, art, and furnishings with the same care you would in a home of your own. We ask that furniture and art remain in place. Of the house's seven fireplaces, only the one in the Great Hall is in working order; please treat the others as the historic architectural features they are.
Guests
The house is offered for exclusive use by up to six overnight guests across its three king en-suite bedrooms. For larger groups, the Minstrels' Gallery includes a pullout bed that can accommodate up to two additional overnight guests by advance arrangement, with bed and bath linens included. We're also glad to help arrange a visit for a larger gathering during the day — just reach out in advance.
Smoking
Dunwyck Hall is a non-smoking property throughout, including the grounds immediately surrounding the house.
A Quiet House
Dunwyck Hall is not a venue for hosted parties, weddings, or ticketed gatherings — it's offered as a private stay for registered guests only.
Pets
We're not able to accommodate pets at this time.
Respecting the Setting
The house sits quietly above Columbus, and we ask that guests keep noise to a minimum in the evenings, park in the designated area, and take care when exploring the grounds.
Should Plans Change
Full cancellation terms are set out in your Rental Agreement. In general, plans changed well ahead of your stay are treated generously; changes closer to arrival are more limited, simply because Dunwyck Hall is offered for so few weeks each season. We're always glad to talk through your particular situation.
